  1. 1. Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA)visa for owner/employee : 

 

The employers can request work permits in case of changing ownership of the CR(Commercial Registration). We can apply for Work Permits Ceiling Increase Request through the Expatriate Management System and if you have more evidence you can submit the same physically at the LMRA along with Workload alert form.

 

  1. 2. LMRA visit and requirement :-

 

In the said process for new establishment registration at LMRA the employers are required to submit their request for issuing work permits in two modes:
a. Online Mode

The said process can be completed online virtually by applying for an amendment of the CR. The said application shall be submitted on the online portal with requisite documents for the shifting of office address from the business center to a proper office address

Any individual or entity involved in generating income and having annual supplies exceeding BHD 37,500 are required to register under Value Added Tax (VAT).

The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) , is the government entity responsible for implementing and collecting VAT in Bahrain.
